Project Brain Drain Update
Hello Brain Drainers!!! First of all I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!! I hope that your days were filled with family, fun and laughter!! It’s such a special time of year and I send all my hydro love to you all!
Next up just a quick update on the progress of The Adventures Of Hydro Girl Comic!
We are now getting very close to having completed all the colour of the comic and are beginning to add all the text to the pages! It is looking amazing and John and I are getting really excited about showing you all the end result! I have not yet set a release date but I will announce it after the colour is fully finished!
I am really pleased to announce that thanks to my new found family in New Zealand The Brain Drain Project was able to feature in the newspaper in Napier (New Zealand)
It was all part of a fundraiser that was held on Thursday 13th of December at the Cabana for The Brain Drain Project to raise some money and more importantly awareness of hydrocephalus in New Zealand! It was all organised by my good friends Bobbi and Selwyn who I had previously met while on tour with our band Calling Utopia in September. The night went off and we all had a great time watching some amazing local talent in the form of bands such as Young Nicks Head, Rude Boyz, Hot Janola and Ninja Monkey! After the first band, I got up on the stage and spoke about hydrocephalus. I explained what it is and some of the things that we face dealing with the condition. It was a fantastic night and I really cannot thank everyone that was involved enough. You have all permanently secured spots in my heart for taking the time to care and to help me with The Brain Drain Project! I really need to send out a very special thank you to my bro Selwyn. You did an amazing job organizing the event and I will never be able to thank you enough!

It has been an amazing year for The Brain Drain Project. I have made so many new friends and learnt so much! But the thing that makes the most happy is that I know that this is only the beginning, 2013 is already looking to be an amazing year and I cannot wait to be able to share it with you all! I want to thank you all so much for your love and support. For sharing your stories and experiences with me, and for inspiring me to always be better. I wish you all a safe and happy new year! I hope that all your dreams come true. And for anyone that is new to this website, please feel free to contact me. I am always willing to help my fellow brainiacs in any way I can.
