My name is Sarah and I have hydrocephalus.....

Each year in Australia, 1 in every 1,000 children is born with hydrocephalus. It is estimated that world wide 1 in 500 people have the condition. Many more children and adults acquire hydrocephalus as a result of accidents, tumours, bleeding or infection.

Left untreated, hydrocephalus can cause severe disability, even death.

We here at Project Brain Drain find it difficult to believe that such a common condition is not talked about and not very well known about. Talking to others, it's the same all round the world.

IT IS OUR HOPE THAT WE CAN CHANGE THIS.

Our aim is to raise money that will aid the people and their families that live with the condition and it's challenges they may face from hydrocephalus.

 We hope that we can all work together and make a difference.
