When Brainiacs Bowl For Brains!

Hellooo Brain Drainers!! I hope you are all doing well.

Just a quick update on what’s been happening at The Brain Drain Project!

So last night we held one of the Brain Drain Projects fundraisers for the year in the form of Bowling For Brains!!! Brainiacs competed for bowling glory in a battle of, well… Trying not to get the bowls in the gutter! It was a very entertaining and fun filled night and everyone that attended had a great time! We managed to raise an awesome $130 for the Hydrocephalus Support Association of Australia and raise a lot of awareness for hydrocephalus as well! http://www.hydrocephalus.org.au/

A massive thank you needs to go to Gambier City Bowl who not only donated game money to the fundraiser but they also provided us with a raffle and prizes!! Now of course the Brain Drain Project’s major fundraiser for the year is our Hydro Girl comic!

I am excited to say that the colouring of the comic is coming along really well, I am almost a third of the way through so having it all coloured by the end of November is still looking good! I am putting up a couple of progress shots so if you don’t want any spoilers LOOK AWAY NOW!!!

So, that’s it from me for now! Hopefully my next blog will be announcing the completion of colouring in Hydro Girl!!
